Default OBC part numbers

my OBC is not working correctly on my 96 ds 48 volt
would my obc part number 21750-01 interchange with a working obc from my 99 48 volt ds with part number 19190-88.

yea i have seen some very different prices. thats why i was hoping my spare would match up. Anyone got a spare laying around?

Robnhood.... If your 99 and your 96 are both series cars (Lever style F&R switch) you can make the 99 OBC work, but you're going to have to modify the way it mounts up. 96 were angle mount, 99 were flush mount. You're going to have to cut and splice a few wires, but it's easy. It's all color coded the same between the two. If you want to order a new OBC, the part number for the 1996 DS Series 48V car is 101800606

Man tahoedawg, that is Exactly what i was hoping to hear. i knew the plugs did't match up but was hopiing that with a little splicing everything would work the same. you da man and thanks for your help

Good deal.... FYI... Red is Positive, yellow is negative, and brown provides a negative charge to the amber light in the dash to turn it on when necessary.

TahoeDawg in the wiring diagram it doesn't show any wires hooked to the negative battery voltage. does it need to be hooked up to anything going into the 96 since it didnt have that bolt on the original OBC? Thanks

The black wire hanging out of the OBC? It was there on the 96, but it was found about a foot or so down the harness hanging out of the loom. It goes to B- on the controller.

Not the wire. I meant the bolt above the wires. sorry for the confusion . and thanks again for all the help you give everyone!
