Default 2001 Club Car series control clicking noise

I have a 2001 Club car series cart that is not running. When I attempt to run the cart I turn the key to on and press the run pedal--it does not move in either forward or reverse.. There is a constant clicking noise that is coming from the Electronic speed controller when I press down on the run pedal but there is no movement what so ever. Is there a way to test the controller or bypass it to see if that is the problem. Batteries are fully charged --voltage is good!! Any ideas?? Solutions??

Most likely the clicking sound you hear is the solenoid closing and opening rapidly due to low voltage... to verify this put the volt meter on the battery pack and note the standing voltage, now try to go, what is the voltage when the solenoid is clicking in and out?

Some batteries can read say 6.2v standing and then 2 or 4v under load. What is happening is one or 2 cells are failing.

The batteries are brand new and the voltage reading after I installed them read 50.5 volts standing I have not tried the reading when I depress the pedal. I will try that next

Well I finally got time to jump out the solenoid.. I was a no go. The clicking sound still persist and it for sure sounds like it is the controller!! Is there a way to check or by pass that or am I doomed and net to replace it?? Thank you to anyone who can answers this!!!

What voltage would be acceptable under load on a 48v cart?
