Prcedent mcor issue
PRECEDNT 2008.5 the MCOR should read from 5k to 0 ohms as the pedal is pressed. My cart will not allow the MCOR to reach the 0 ohms state. That is the pedal bottoms out before reaching 0 ohms. I have insatlled a new MCOR with the same problems. The guys at Alltrax (400dq modified to fit the accel system))tell me the problem I have with spotty acceration is the MCOR is not reaching 0 ohms at full throttle. I see no way to adjust the pedal. So guy's, any ideas?
This might be a good question for Tahoe Dawg. Thanks, Tommy |

Re: Prcedent mcor issue
. . . not sure about Precedent, but my DS has an adjustment for "GO PEDAL HEIGHT", a measurement from floor board to pedal when not depressed . . there is a nut/bolt underneath for accomplishing this . . . I think the Precedent may have same adjustment ability . . .

Re: Prcedent mcor issue
For those following this thread... I spoke with tlr6334 on the phone so he knows what to look for.... But here's some info for you.
Normal MCOR Range is 6100 - 1100. This particular car he's dealing with is an Excel car. Excel cars have additional resistors in the throttle feed vs an IQ car. In each of the three wires there's a 471ohm resistor. This may be what's causing the issue. He's going to call AllTrax to see if they're even aware of these resistors. I'm betting they're not aware of it at all. |

Re: Prcedent mcor issue
Tahoe Dawg was right once again. Alltrax was not aware of the resisters in the throttle wiring. They have sent me a new field map to install, I'll advise later how this works out. Thanks again to David for sharing his knowledge with us.

Re: Prcedent mcor issue
I wish AllTrax would hire me so I can educate them on these things |

Alltrax has a map that will fix the full throttle problem but it will still be jerky at low throttle input. Alltrax is falling short in several areas, recognizing lower throttle and max |
