Default problems

ive got a 2003 ezgo workhoarse and it seams like im not getting compression in one of the two cylinders and i think its a valve problem but before i start takin it apart any other ideas of what it could be? its also having starting problems. it takes forever to start and it runs like crap for the first 10 minutes. it might be because of the compression but we will have to see.thanx in advance.

I would check the compression first. I thought I had a bad cylinder too, but I tested compression and it was good. I found out later that my coil was arcing off of the mounting bolt and therefore giving one of the cylinders a weak spark with a slight miss. Make sure you have GOOD spark to both cylinders!

no compression in one cylinder could be valves or a broke rod, take plug out of suspect cylinder and look to see if piston is moving.
adjust the valves before doing a compression test

154 isn't bad. It's not great, but not bad. Now let's find why there is a difference. Did you adjust your valves to .004"?
