Re: Fuel Injected TXT 295cc w/ LS2 Coils
I read through this entire post, and quite frankly it's a bit irritating. I'm not sure where this turned into a pissing match but who won?
You both have valid points - you can argue code all you want, but the way I look at it, 02txt has completed his fuel injection project and is driving his cart around. Does that make his method better? Maybe... Maybe not. The fact is, it works as intended. Let's all be big boys, agree to disagree on some things, and understand there is more than one way to skin a cat. 02txt, thank you for bringing this to my attention, I will be building a fuel injection system of my own over the winter, after some much needed reading. |

I am willing to pay for your entire Speeduino setup if I can't make my setup work without the toothed wheel. If I can make it work, 02txt gets to pay for your entire setup. Is he willing to bet against me? EDIT... I see he has been responding to this thread for the last several minutes, but has logged off immediately. |

Re: Fuel Injected TXT 295cc w/ LS2 Coils
I was also interested in designing my own throttle body to fit where the carb is, and I bought some aluminum to start prototyping, but it ended up being simpler and faster just to use a modified carb for now.
Here is the first design: Second design, with an attempt at being something I could build with parts from Home Depot, and it would just be a carb spacer: And here is my final design before I decided to stay with the carb. I designed this one in Autodesk Inventor It still may be something I do in the future, but for now it's nice to have the wind in my face with more power under my foot Louis |

I'm not sure if you have any aluminum casting capabilities - but its pretty simple. Do a quick search on lost foam casting.. Its fun and simple. It also helps to have a milling machine, but you can get around that if you are creative.

Re: Fuel Injected TXT 295cc w/ LS2 Coils
Love this build, I wish I had know about this efi system before I went with the ecotrons system. With the software does it have a working auto tuning feature? The ecotrons is suppose to self tune but I have found that it does almost nothing. Now you need to get an Aisin amr300 blower, makes these little Robins engines move right along, and they really not that expensive, and so much fun.

I want to do a microsquirt so bad, and the AMR300 sounds like a ton more fun.
