Gas 1998 par car
After letting off the throttle the brakes lock up what do I need to adjust to fix this

I don't know 1998s per se but what you describe shouldn't be possible as the throttle / brakes aren't connected any way. Conceptually, there could be two things:
1) There is something mechanically going on with your cart that is making you think it's the brakes but it's not. IE; a malfunctioning clutch, a bad wheel bearing somewhere, or something like that. 2) Somehow, your accelerator / brake pedals have interconnected so when you lift the accelerator the brake pedal gets engaged. I am just not seeing it, though. |
