Default RXV Jerking & Stuttering

Just bought a 2012 RXV with new 2021 Trojan batteries and 2g cables. Hot and ground are also 2g. Has been tuned up to go around 29 mph. It has started making this jerking around at times like the brake is trying to kick in real hard. Seems to be coming from the front end. Usually when going somewhat slow up or down a hill or turn. Does not do this at full or partially full speed on flat straight ground. Really noticed last night driving around the golf course. I've seen numerous things on here that could be causing this. I called the guy i bought it from who buys/sells a lot of these and he said it is most likely that the bolts on the motor brake are too tight. Questions....

1. What are the odds that this is the case?
2. Has other damage been done as a result?
3. If this is not the problem, what would be the next thing to check?

Could be the regen braking isn't set right.

Thanks. The guy I bought it from was the one that programmed it to go faster. He also turned off the reverse beeping. Would he be able to make adjustments with the programmer if the regen is the issue? Or is this more of a mechanical/manual adjustment that needs to be made?

Ok, so handheld returned no errors/codes while malfunctioning. It eventually stopped. Will be a week Wednesday since last occurred so thoughts are that when the guy I bought it from was cleaning it off before delivery, some electrical component got wet and caused it to start acting up. It had lots of dirt/dust on it so I’m pretty sure he hosed it off. Anyway. Problem solved for now.

I agree with usgicollector's thoughts above and also have this thought as well.

If the problem comes back, most likely you need to replace the solenoid. The problem you may have is usually attributed to a failing solenoid. Your solenoid is most likely a 36V, make sure which type is on your cart for simple replacement. Two links below show the difference in mounting of the RXV solenoid.

ok. Thanks. Good to know. This is a 48v RXV. About how much would a new solenoid run?
