Default newbie with slight problem

Hi, I am new to this forum. I am certainly glad to see it! I have a 2000 EZGO. Just got it. It ran fine but I wanted to clean it up and change a couple of the bad looking wires. I did not turn the switch to tow/maintenance I saw that after I changed the 3 wires. I know my bad! Now the cart won't move there is no charge showing on the meter on the dash. The lights and horn work fine so I know the batteries are okay. Is there some type of reset I need to push?/
Thanks for any help you can be.
Dale

No the buzzer does not work. The only things that work are the horn and lights. I am thinking and hoping there is a fuze of some sort that I can change out to fix it.

Do a search on "reed switch" on this forum and see if that doesn't solve your problem. Hopefully that is the only thing you took out.

I'll bet you'll remember about the Tow/Run from here on out.

You didn't say where the FNR (direction selector) switch is located.

I will check out the reed switch, do you think I will have to replace it?
Yes I will remembe the Tow/run switch from now on!!!
The Direction switch is on the dash if that is what you are talkin about. It has 3 positions forward, center, reverse.

You can bypass the reed switch. Do the search and study up. If you do bypass instead of replacing as they are a bit pricey, then make it a habit to loop the charge cord through the steering wheel when charging. The reed circuit prevents drive offs while the charger is plugged in.
