G9 Front End Lift Question
I am running 22x11.00x8 tires. This cart has (I think) a 5" lift on it.
As you can see, it is the kind of lift that uses the stock arms... and jacks the frame up using a couple of plates. It does pretty good for us, but sometimes when we are going over the "whooptie dooos" the front tires will rub on the fenders a little. Should I just get some longer/stronger shocks...possibly from a G9 Electric or a four-wheeler? OR...should I invest in a different lift? I wouldn't be opposed to a different type of lift....especially if it would put the front tires a little further forward. IF you think I'd be better off with another kind of lift, what kind and how high should I go? I don't really want to have to carry around a step ladder to get in the buggy. |

Re: G9 Front End Lift Question
An A Arm lift from Jakes/ All Sports in 6" will move your front tires up a couple inches and give you better clearance in the "back" on the rougher stuff. Will improve the ride and handling as well. Longer shocks on that lift may make it tough to adjust your toe angle, also.

Re: G9 Front End Lift Question
On my G9 I have had the Jakes for a few years and have beat the crap out of it with no issues. I can't speak on the allsports as I never had one on the G9.

Re: G9 Front End Lift Question
Looks like it'll be a Jake's then.
Of course it'll probably be January before I can get to it. Deer season will be here before you know it.....and here in GA it runs till Jan 01. |
