Golf Cart Tunes
Just wondering what others think. I am thinking of buying this to install on my cart. I dont really need a cd player or a radio, but have a mp3 player loaded with tunes. Anyone have any suggestions as to why or why not this wouldnt work great?

Re: Golf Cart Tunes
Looks good so far, as long as it accepts your MP3 output and volume control. I would bench test it before committing to an install. Make sure you can return the package if it doesn't work out. Let us know what you end up with.

Re: Golf Cart Tunes
I purchased a motorcycle speaker system made by the same manufacturer that is very similar to this. It is used on my kayak for tunes for me (and the rest of the river lol). I am very happy with the system, and get countless compliments on the speakers and sound quality. It's hard to beat for the $80 I paid.

Re: Golf Cart Tunes
I was going to do that exact same thing. But I was concerned about the load on my charging system, with lights and all. So I stumbled on this stereo at Advance Auto Parts..
http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/web...%7CGRP2021____ It works great..I use my 4gig usb drive in it and can have tunes for days..And it does not draw much current..Sounds very good for a 40 buck mp3 stereo. You can use an SD memory card too "there is a slot next to the usb port. I paired it up with some KLH outdoor weatherproof speakers and it sounds sweet. It says "1 pair rca outs", but it has front and rear speaker wires too. I used no amp and its plenty loud. |
