Re: Rhobyn's New Lake Cart
Get the ST steering wheel and a driver side hip restraint.... leave that old steel box and spend your money on the lift kit, wheels & tires she wants
I know that model pretty good lemme know if you need help or parts. Which steering box location do you have? Axle mount or firewall mount? I think I have good used cables from putting hydraulic disc brakes on mine.... used hip restraint.... stuff like that crash. Check the brakes. (The rear axle torques to about 125 Ft#s) |

Re: Rhobyn's New Lake Cart
Thanks Scotty, I'll be calling ya with a shopping list.
Ooooor, you could bring it with ya to the CAW ride. I'll have a spare cart on the trailer anyway, with your name on it. |

Re: Rhobyn's New Lake Cart
Pulled the starter off and found a burned up armature and dust for brushes.
Thought I was up the creek until I remembered I have another good starter in the shed. I will swap the end flange on it to use the stock mounts. One marked off the list. |

Re: Rhobyn's New Lake Cart
Got the battery all charged up and it's holding, starter is swapped out and spun it over. Actually started up with a rag over the air intake but smells like it was burning rotten grass. Carb needs to come off for a little R+R as well as cleaning the whole fuel system.
Pick these up in the morning, set of 4 - 24" Maxis and rims - $125.00 |
