Re: Rhobyn's New Lake Cart
hehehehe, You got that right!! Not sure of bolt pattern on them but being from an ATV I'm betting I'll be making some more wheel spacer/adaptors like these.
The ones on the left are for Rhobyns G2 and the others went on the Yamazuki. |

Re: Rhobyn's New Lake Cart
I can get on with the lift now that I have something I can measure!
Gonna need to make some wheel spacers/adaptors for the pattern. 24" Maxxis should do nicely for her, not to wide so still easy to steer! Scotty, give me a call on my nickel when you get a chance. |

Re: Rhobyn's New Lake Cart
I didn't go with the Aluminum adaptors this time. I cut some 1.25 round bar 1.5" long for front and 1.250 for rear, drilled and threaded them 1/2-20 to screw onto the lug studs.
Then cut some 1/2" thick Adaptor plates on the Laser that bolt to the spacers. That gets the wheel on with about a .100 gap between the dust cap and back of the rim. The front wheel is on with no lift but the rear scrubs the plastic so I have to do a spring over in the back and then drop axle in front to level it. |

Re: Rhobyn's New Lake Cart
So I finished the wheel adapters, spacers and put them together. I didn't have any aluminum in stock so I did the next best thing with some 1 1/4 round stock for spacers, 1/2" plate for adapter, a little laser time, bolts and lugnuts.
Not as pretty as the aluminum but will be covered up anyway. |

Hope you got that cart for a song, 'cause with the amount of mods you are doing is going to cost you an arm and leg. |

Re: Rhobyn's New Lake Cart
Rhobyn found it and the CL add said will trade for ATV so I actually traded an older Yamaha 200 Blaster that didn't run and $100.00 for it.
Hey! He couldn't do without it, what could I say? |

P.S. You do good work. I like the spacers you built. I have to send all my metal work to a machine shop. Don't have the tools myself or the skills so I have to get Shorty to do it for me. |

Re: Rhobyn's New Lake Cart
And nothing wrong with that either, just means you have more free time to enjoy other stuff.
