Here is one with control circuit added.
36_Control_a.jpg This uses the stock wiring but I do mine a little different and will post it later if folks want. |

Re: wiring in 2 more 6v batts??
I like to hook my Altrax up straight to the key switch myself. This way it's on even if the pedal isn't pressed.
I like the schematic though. I just printed it. |

Re: wiring in 2 more 6v batts??
nice diagram wiz. but i guess still don't understand why yours has to be different. mine and gorno's work and last time i checked, 36v is still 36v. but hey, if it works for you, that is great, especially if it helps out frank. i also downloaded it. thx.

Re: wiring in 2 more 6v batts??
Yes, 36v is 36v but it appears that the LogiSystems controller does not like that the "On" lead that comes from the switch and B+ from the solenoid have a 12 volt difference with respect to the B- terminal. My way they do not.

Re: wiring in 2 more 6v batts??
i ran into a little problem, after rewiring your way wiz it still did not go??? i have a built in volt meter running off ignition key power and last battery negative, i don't know if it was being fed back through, because when i moved that negative to neg 36v post, all was well and i'm moving good, unable to take it out for a ride due to weather though. i don't know what i'm going to do about my meter because i'm only reading 36v instead of 48v.

Re: wiring in 2 more 6v batts??
wizardket,
OK, I did some studing of your schematic and this is how I see it. What did I miss to get the voltage equal on the two circuits? Where does the control circuit pickup 48? |
