how do i know if cart is good or just batteries?
i just bought an ezgo golf cart, bought it from a guy that i think to be honest, he said only thing wrong with cart was needed new batteries. Question i have, is there anyway to know that cart will run without purchasing the new batteries? I plugged charger in, in hopes of just getting enough juice to show me that motor was good, however the charger just blinked. i was wondering if batteries had to have certain amount of charge for charger to work or if charger may be bad. any advice would be most appreciated. Also, is there anyway to run 3 12volt batteries as opposed to the 6 6vs?

yes you need a certain amount of voltage before charger comes on........you have to start by getting batteries in it and go from there..........as far as 3 12 volts yes but you won,t be happy at all you,ll spend most of the time charging the cart..................................

If you would get the model number off of the ID plate and post it here along with a photo, it will be to your advantage. Without the model number, we are just taking a shot in the dark too. We try.
