Go to www.ebay.com and type in "16hp engine" you will see the Carrol Stream engines and the Powermax engines they are the same thing buy one with an electric start.

I bought the Maxtools Powermax brand because the bore and stroke numbers equaled up to the 420cc advertised displacement. Some clones numbers don't add up. This was a suggestion from a go-carting forum I believe.

I bought my 13 hp clone from Harborfreighttools.com $299.00 at the time 2 weeks ago. Another $50 get you a 2 year full replacement warranty. No ? asked. You also can renew warranty as many times as you would like. These engines are made by Lifan These engines also have electric start

looking at the ebay site, it states that these engines DO NOT CHARGE THE BATTERY...
how would this be able to be overcome...I am assumi ng that you dont just make sure you have a fully charged battery before you crank it up????? |

They come with a muffler and air filter setup. I ended up scrapping both to try to use my cart's stock parts. It hasn't worked as perfect as I'd like....but I hope it will here before too long. I'm trying to jet the carb for the difference in air flow.
