Default 2003 PDS No Go !!

Need advice on troubleshooting a no go !! PDS will not go into test mode, not beeps, no solinoid click, new batteries, Voltage is good, all wiring is good. Im not a golf cart specialist, but an electrician. I need a flow chart to determine if control is bad.

Thanks

NO power anywhere ? Check the reed switch (fuse) in the charge receptacle.

Thanks Scotty, Thats an easy fix when you can find it. Someone had removed the wire coming out of the charge controller. Do you have one in stock? If so I would like to purchase and ship.

I have one but honestly, most everybody does a by-pass for this switch. Ezgo used the reed switch for a few years and dropped it due to high failure rate.

Caution once you bypass the reed switch the cart can be driven off with the charger in use. Run the charge cord through the steering wheel to prevent such accidents or paypal me $20 and I will send a replacement switch today.

He ain't kiddin'. When mine died, I replaced it. $45 if I recall. It died less than two years later. I dissected them both. They are glass magnetic switches, potted in plastic. Probably fine on a golf course, but the way I drive...

Besides, my subdivision pool prohibits "glass containers" so I'm now in full compliance.
