Yes the LED did flash four times then go solid green. And the voltage on 6, 9 & 10 is pack voltage. I have been through the drawings and tested everything. This controller has been sent back to Alltrax three times and they say it is good. I hate to push them only to find out there it's something on my cart whacked out. My next step is to buy the adapter to allow me to mount this controller on a 36 volt cart to verify once and for all it it's the controller.

Try lifting the 10-pin plug on top of the DCX a whisper and put your DVM test probe directly on Pin-7 as it comes out of the controller. (The blue wire from the solenoid may not be making good electrical contact with Pin-7)

Sure sounds like a bad controller to me.

The only other thing I can think of is the Pin-5 (actual pin) is not going to full pack voltage when pedal is pressed.

---------
In a nutshell, if the green LED is coming on steady, you have pack voltage on Pins 6, 9 & 10, so when Pin-5 goes high, Pin-7 ought to go low, or the controller is not doing what it is being told to do.

I totally agree. When I check the controller in a different cart and it does not work, we will see if Alltrax will make this right by replacing with a new one

Alltrax is very responsible when it comes to warranty claims

That is my dilemma here. They have taken it back checked it and sent it back three times, each time saying it tested good. That is why I am asking for all your help in any possible issues with my cart.

I'd get two DVMs and make a video. First showing that you have FULL battery pack voltage on Pins 6, 9 & 10 and the LED comes on steady Green.
Then show the voltage on Pin-7 stays at pack voltage when the voltage on Pin-5 is toggled to pack voltage.

Then copy it to a CD and send the CD with the controller to Alltrax.

I would call your retailer and make him deal with it. Have him go to the factory techs and get you a new control. That's what we do. I don't know why people buy from companies that have no customer support. Alltrax actually requires their dealers to inter face between end users and the factory but they are too lenient and often end up doing it them selves... leaving the dealer out of the loop and uneducated...
