Alltrax Problem
Put a 400 amp alltrax my PDS in last night with the wheels off the ground i tested it to see if it had F&W. everything worked fine. Got here this morning to pull the cart out and let it off the jacks and it only has reverse no mater if i put the swith in F or R. So I tried a new switch and that didnt fix it, I put a 300 amp controller in and it went into foward and then reverse, buttoned it up and let it off the jacks and only reverse. Anyone have any ideas?

Re: Alltrax Problem
thought maybe the F&W wires were touching somewhere and they arnt, Pulled the cart into the shop and now it will only go in foward. I pulled the 3 wires out of the factory loom all the way back to the controller and no breaks in them. I tested the wires goimng into the controller and i have battery voltage to the orange wire when in drive and pack voltage to the green wire in rev, but motor still will only turn one way. That one way is now foward, lol

Re: Alltrax Problem
What year PDS? (Early 2000 were different)
Was the 300A controller a stock PDS controller? (Curtis 1206MX) If both 300A and 400A are DCX type, it might be the PDS to DCX adapter. |

Quote:
Green wire (Pin-3) should be hot in Forward and Orange wire (Pin-2) should be hot in Reverse. If the cart only goes on one direction, check the diodes in the adapter. |
