NEED HELP-Lifting Wife's Ez-Go Limo
Need help and opinions on lifting 2000 Ez-Go Limo with Rear Bed on back. This is my wife's cart and she just use's it to shuttle kids and dog around island an really will never use off road. Looking for a good looking lift with nice tires. Was thinking a 6" lift? Spindle vs. A Arm? Need all of your help and opinions. Thanks!

Jake's and All sports both make quality lift. Best ride is a Long Travel , double A arm then spindle and drop axle. Drop axle heavier then spindle lift. Spindle lift easiest to install. I had a 6" drop axle and now a Jakes long travel. The ride is much smoother and tighter steering, I love it. Not squirrelly driving at 25. Hope this helps.

Re: NEED HELP-Lifting Wife's Ez-Go Limo
Long travel or drop axle for my 2 cents. We put a spindle lift on my brothers old cart and it increased the turning radius to a mile. That won't help with a limo cart. I asked Jakes about it and they said it was done for safety reasons.. If you only want just a little lift they make a 3 inch out there..

So between drop axle and spindle everyone would agree on drop axle for less squirrely steering?

I would go with the 3" drop axle. It is real stout, if you buy a good one like jakes.

I normally buy oem but not sure who makes them anymore.. Figure out how high you want to go and start looking .. Just remember, the higher you go the harder it is to get into..

One thing that the others haven't mentioned, and you better consider. How are the wheels/tires you plan on going with. You can go up to 20" tires and don't need a lift at all. Stock golf cart tires are roughly 18". any bigger than that and with the larger tires, it WILL put more strain on the electrical drive.....which will, soon or later, take something out.
