Default hub type and what wheel left or right

I have a 2008 ezgo cart with the front and reverse button on the dash. I need to know the correct hub and what wheel right or left to change out the hub.

It sounds like you are looking for HD rear hubs? Ausco makes them. You get the hub and a new drum for $59. Same item right and left side. Item #2127 for electric and #2126 for gas. Best replaced in pairs.

Scotty buggies unlimited said it only pulls from the driver side and I would only need one hub. It comes with the drum and wheel bolts. Does this sound right to you.

No. It is an open differential so it pulls from which ever wheel offers the least amount of resistance at the moment.

Well, the authority "BU" has spoken (inserted foot in mouth). Dont worry about "those guys", we wont steer you in the wrong direction. Although the left side is often the culprit, it is not necessarily the one. The hubs (or hubs & drums) are the same for both sides, and should be replaced in pairs for even brake wear & brake performance.

One of BGW's fine sponsors have really nice EZ-Go hubs that will keep the splines from stripping again!
