1988 Ezgo - Need Help
I have a 1988 Ezgo 36V (resistor type). It's pretty old but get's the job done up until a few month's ago. We used it to ride to our hunting spot. Well, went through some water that was deeper than expected. Got up to floor. Immediately after the cart would slowly go forward/reverse with the key off. Only way to stop was to put the selector in N.. Well I changed the micro switch where the pedal assembly is and the solenoid. Now, I got nothing.... I have 37-39 volts across the batteries, I have 39 V to one side of the solenoid. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

In a resistor coil cart I would suspect you have melted the speed wiper switch... check it out and be sure the wiper arm is returning to the 0 position and that the wiper arm micro switch is being disengaged when the pedal comes to 0 throttle.

Got a new problem, when I put it in forward, nothing. I put in reverse and it slowly creeps back with no trottle.
