Do I have a Txt -Freedom or not?

How do I know if I have the Freedom package on my 1999 TXT series? Thanks for the info!!!

Plug the serial number into the linked website and it will tell you if it came from the factory as a Standard TXT or the Freedom version.

For a 1999 TXT cart with a series drive, I believe the only difference was factory installed lights.

If it wasn't a Freedom.....what was it?....a chained version??

It does have the factory lights.I'll have to run the numbers when I at my cart this weekend. Strap her down Strap her down If that don't work chain her down.

Ran my serial number several times through that link and it never would bring it up, kept saying it couldn't find it, but I know I had the number correct

I wonder why that website will not pull up my serial number, is this the right place and number I should be entering? It's in the passenger side cubby. Could the serial number needed for the shop ezgo website be located in another spot on the cart. Just seems like it would pull mine up, it has everyone elses.

Number didnt work for me either. Check the other possible SN locations to see if you find any different numbers. Other locations are, just below the charge port on the body, or just behind & above the batteries, on the piece of metal the factory light harness runs along, or under the cart on the drivers side of the frame, near the gas & brake pedal area.

98 cart should be top of the frame rail next to the right rear tire. But if it has factory lights is probably is a freedom but really doesn't matter.. Just a name, parts are the same

It's weird because when I got it, it did have head lights but it's not like the headlight bar you see on most of the freedom ones. It's 2 single lights slightly tucked under the front body wear it hangs over them a little. It also has a 3-way ignition switch off/on/then the lights come on with the next click over. For some reason info just seems so hard for me to find or figure out on this cart,it's my first one also, so I was just wondering what it might say. It's supposedly all stock. I did notice the batteries have a date on them, Some are like A0 and then some are B1. I hope that's 2010 and 2011.
