I'll have to see if I can tune in to his brainwaves via our tinfoil hats.

Re: Xct500
I just installed my XCT 48400 yesterday too. I had a few challenges also. I made it around the block just fine. I then burnt up my run/tow switch. That took a few tests to sort. It helps to become familiar with your equipment anyway.
I am going to reserve my opinion just yet. During the failure I made a few controller setting changes trying to resolve the problem. I will have to get another copy of the special sauce. However I did run around today connected to the laptop monitoring various data while watching my GPS. It was interesting tampering with the various settings and curves. Plenty to read about and learn there. I am running at 36v presently and intend to bump it to 42v. Not much interest in 48v ATM. |

Re: Xct500
okay so been real busy but got a chance to play today. My tire diameter off of cart is 24.5". I unplugged cart and it sat for about 20 minutes. I forgot to check voltage. My top speed with a helper neighbor was 29.06. The average I came up with after a few full speed runs was 28.45. At 28.45 the motor speed was 5140. I can live with that. I can say also that my tires are A/T with a 20 psi max and they are set @ 28 psi. Gotta say very pleased........ what ya got Johhny? Would be nice to pull a little more rpm and hit 30mph. Any thoughts? Chime in Scotty! Oh and why does the controller temp have to be in Celsius, I'm old school need F.
