Per Kasmir suggestion: If you choose to change over from 4 - 12V to 6 - 8V, attached is a write up from, I think, a fellow member who made the modifications to fit the 6 8's in the early Precedent battery compartment. I was planning to do this until I went with Lithium.

You never know what else you'll turn up with something that is "new" to you that will cost you time and money. No need to get into a money pit on a "good" buy before you know exactly what you got.

Thanks for everything! I end up finding 4 batteries and now is runs great. I also had to change the control arm. Was not a bad job. Thanks again!
