Re: 97 CC 48v not running
Well it sure sounds like a failed controller - you can perform some other random checks (see THIS THREAD) - but it sounds very much like your controller has failed on more than just the solenoid activation function.

Re: 97 CC 48v not running
As little as $600 to restore to normal. Or about $1200 to install a new wiring harness, some other necessary electrical upgrades and a butt kicker XCT high performance IQ controller.

Re: 97 CC 48v not running
FSIP makes a conversion kit that is pretty simple and it converts it to the silver GE regen 2 control. You can get it in a reman, or new, stock or higher amp. I think the stock new kit was around $500 or maybe a little less. Much cheaper than converting to IQ.

Re: 97 CC 48v not running
I'm looking for the most economical way to get this thing going. It's a garden cart. What do I need to get to restore it to normal?

Re: 97 CC 48v not running
FSIP would be the cheapest. The reman stock control would be cheaper, but they can give trouble. I would prefer the new version.

There website sucks in my opinion. You may want to give them a call and maybe tell them exactly what you need.

Re: 97 CC 48v not running
Look at this on eBay http://www.ebay.com/itm/280988714276
There is also this if you don't have any luck with FSIP. I don't think David at Revolution carries this conversion, he might. He would be the best to buy from if he has it. Sent from my SM-G930R4 using Tapatalk |

Re: 97 CC 48v not running
mgray70 - you just completed that change-out/upgrade of your failed Regen 1 controller recently...right? I forgot to ask at the time, even though you removed the dynamic braking coil and solenoid as part of the upgrade - do you still have Regen braking and hill brake similar to the old setup?
