Gas/throttle pedal ?
Hello I'm new here lol.my question is about my 1st golf cart ever that I just acquired.48 volt Yamaha (g22e) 2005 model.it was painfully slow.i noticed that it would not move until I gave it about 1/2 throttle.i pulled up the flooring and noticed it had a threaded rod going to a throttle switch.i adjusted it about a 1/4" and now it go the top speed I like.will this hurt anything.i use it for a way to get around at the drag strip where we race.i don't pull with it or hot rod around.im lazy and hate walking everywhere.lol

Re: Gas/throttle pedal ?
It shouldn't hurt anything. However it would be a good idea to measure the throttle pot with a meter and replace it if part of its range is reading incorrectly.
