12 volt batteries
My 12 volt batteries are shot and am gonna replace them. My question is can I go down to 6 8 volt batteries?

Yes. From what I have read on this forum most recommend 6 8v setup. Do a search and several posts will come back. I think the only issue people have w/different model carts is fitting the batteries in the tray. If i recall, 6 8v improves distance.
