Default G14 lift???

Hello all,

I was recently gifted a nice non running electric g14. I’m in the process of getting it operational again. So far the diodes and solenoid were bad so ordered those. It needs batteries so I’m doing tests with 3 12v batteries to get it functional.

Anyway, once I get it running, I would like to do a small lift and a slightly bigger tire. I’m not wanting to get crazy with it. I’m trying to do it cheaply as well. I’m not dumping a ton of cash in a 23 year old cart. Thinking of a 4” block lift and 20” tires on the stock wheels. Am I going to hate it with the stock controller and motor? If it’s going to be bad I’ll just go redneck style with some ats on the back and keep it stock height.

I’m just planning on using it in the yard and at campgrounds. I can’t find much info on lifting these carts and how they perform. All I find is pages wanting me to buy new controllers and motors.

Thanks.

Thank you very much.

The motor is bad and I didn’t test the controller.

I’m talking to scottyb hopefully he can get me setup with a package that will work well. Still not sure if this thing is worth a couple grand to fix or not.

Plan on converting the F&R to Ezgo style, or ScottyB's F&R relays. Stock F&R is horrible, even on stock size wheels.
