OEM Club Car MCOR's obviously sucks based on the mass number of threads on here with issues, and so do the Chinese.
I wish there was a good American or Japanese, **** it's just a potentiometer.

The MCOR is definitely the Achilles’ heel of a CC, but OEM is still the only way to go. The aftermarket ones are just atrocious.

That is your opinion and you sure are welcome to it. I have an '07 and an '04 DS, both still on the original MCOR's so our opinions differ. You asked the question and I was nice enough to supply you an answer. Do as you feel you need too, I only use the OEM stuff as opposed to Chinese.

Like Jake said, aftermarkets are flat out awful. OEM is still the best way to go, and there have been improvements made to the OEM parts in subsequent productions to help avoid some of the failures from earlier versions.

Another option is to install an entire pedal assembly from a newer cart with a Gen 2 pedal set, that uses an MCOR4. David at Revolution has those as well.

NOLEFAN4EVER, I appreciate your link and am gonna go its route, I was just hoping for a good aftermarket, not Chinese junk.

Club Car has made 4 different mcors with seems like lots of issues in each series.

....
I think you're looking for the version that has ITW Switches cast in the housing above the sticker that says it's made in Mexico.

It was more an Evolution. The MCOR 2 was a revised 1, and it is still manufactured today. The MCOR 3 and TPS were short lived and superseded by the MCOR 4 and it has been in production for many years and does well.

Remember, since it contains a potentiometer in it, that is a wear part....
