Well I guess my issue is intermitent. I thought what I did fixed it because I connected the wire and it immediately started working but I was just driving the cart and it cut off while I was driving and I couldn't get it running again. Same issue the solenoid is not engaging. What are the chances the OBC is messed up and causing this problem? What else could it be?

That gray wire is the "sense" wire from the charger receptacle.

If the OBC lockout is failing it will prevent the cart from running.

You can just disable that on the software to eliminate the possibility.

Follow the instructions on this post to disable the lockout then unplug the OBC 6-pin connector to see if the cart works.

Quick question while I am waiting for the cable to come in so I can connect up to the controller.

I read in another post that if the reverse buzzer works that it means the OBC is good and not locked out? In my case it does work. Also I just noticed while pushing the cart into my garage that the reverse buzzer is going off when the cart is in motion. Is this another clue?

Did the reverse buzzer work when the cart was not working?

If it did then that is not the problem.

Yes it is still not working and yes it still works when I switch it in reverse.

But also if I push the cart forward it also buzzes like it is in reverse. I didn't notice this before because I put tap on it to muffle the noise a bit

That is good, it means quite a lot of systems are working.

With the Key Switch ON, push the cart by hand, not only should the reverse buzzer make a sound indicating the "roll-away" brake has engaged, but the XCT should also close the Solenoid.

Do You hear the Solenoid engage when You do that?

Does the cart offer resistance towards being pushed?

If the answer is Yes to both questions it looks more like a bad MCOR switch.

No when pushing the cart forward or backwards with key on I only hear the buzzer no click of the solenoid and it doesn’t seem like much resistance pushing the cart beyond the weight of it.

The cart "beeping" means the Controller is detecting motion, the power would then come from the tow/run switch to energize the motor field windings.

Make sure the Tow/Run switch pink wire power is on the Battery side of the Solenoid.

If it is You may need to post some pictures for better reference of what you have.

Do you have these readings?
When the controller has all inputs needed to run it will GND the small solenoid terminal Blue/White which will close the solenoid.
As a test you could jumper the small solenoid terminal (Blue/White) to GND (B-) to see if the solenoid large contacts close.
I just installed an SW180 and can’t get my controller to work so I’ve been reading through forums and came across this. I just tested my solenoid by jumping Blue/white terminal (bottom small terminal) to B- on the pack. It shorted and sent sparks. What does this mean?
