Light and Buzzer Wiring (Check My Work)
Hi Folks,
I'm installing some switches on a golf car I bought that had some preexisting headlight wiring without a voltage reducer. I'm actually redoing a previous install to make sure headlights have separate fuses. Can someone take a look at my diagram and tell me how it looks before I go to the effort? There will be 3 LED switches (5pin). I want the LEDs to work on all switches. Switch 1 will controll standard headlights. Switch 2 will control two LED spotlights (3amp total). Switch 3 has a relay to allow the buzzer to be disabled upon pushing the button (AKA silent mode). |

Very nice diagram, how did you make it? Do you have to use a relay to kill the buzzer? Could a basic interupt switch work?

Drew it up in photoshop....the relay was so the buzzer would be disabled by turning the switch on (rather than the other way around)

Re: Light and Buzzer Wiring (Check My Work)
My main question if I can't get a total review:
Is it ok to "daisy-chain" the switch grounds (7/8 pins all connecting to 1 run to the negative bus) vs having separate runs for each ? I'm thinking I should daisy chain the buzzer and spotlight pos+ as I've shown, but just do a separate run to the the buzzer switch. |

Given I'm just using this for headlights and spotlights and no feedback, I'm going with everything on one fuse...hope that helps someone.
