Default Charging port on cart

I recently got a 2007 club car precedent. I've had it for about a week and one of the female parts came out of the charing port.Im having a hard time seeing how to get to this part to change it.do I need to remove the whole body?I hope it's easier then that.
Thank you and have a good day.

Take out that center cover between the batteries & maybe a battery or two to give better access.

Easiest way is to remove the floor mat. Then take out the 2 screws holding the body down that are on the same plane as the charging port. The panel holding the port should then be able to tilt and come out.

I changed out the charging port when I got it the other day.So I went to plug my stock club car charger into the port and it seems like the positive is to big for the female end on the cart.Anyone have this issue before?
Thanks and have a good day

The one you bought is for a DS. You need one specifically for a 2007 Precedent. While any Precedent receptacle will "fit", it's important to buy the correct one for your year model so the wire lengths are correct for your application. The part number for the one you'll need to order will be 102510201
