Default RXV Brake Lights Stay On

I have a 2013 RXV 48 volt cart and the brake lights come on intermittently.
The brake lights will work fine for several days and then, all of a sudden, the brake lights will come on and stay on. I just replaced the brake light switch and the brake lights still stay on, until I pull the fuse. When I replace the fuse after a few minutes or several hours, sometimes the brake lights are still on or they are off.
Someone mentioned to replace the turn signal assembly, as the RXV brake light wiring runs through the turn signal circuit. Thoughts and suggestions?
Thanks for your help.

Any other recommendations?

How are the lights turned on? Some attached to the brake pedal or using the relay under the cup holder?

If it's attached to the brake pedal like mine ( custom made ), you may have to make some adjustments to the switch or the brake pedal spring? A picture would be helpful...

When brake lights stay on.
Test to see if brake switch is closed. ( voltage on both terminals of switch)If it is brake switch is stuck on or bad.switch should be open when brakes are off😊

Thanks for your replies.
The light switch is mounted on the dash, as shown in picture.
I don't believe there is a brake light timer involved, as this RVX uses the motor as the brake and automatically sets the brake when the cart stops.
Sometimes the brake lights work perfectly and sometimes they don't, so it's not a consistent problem. The turn signals and all other lights work fine.
I've also attached a picture of the light switch, which is located under the floor boards by the brake pedal assembly.

Usgicollector, I am assuming you have seen the cheap brakes cause this issue before. Does it cause a ground and hold the relay in? I see where it would be possible on a stock EZGO light set like this.

wcmac007, DO NOT go probing around on your RXV unless you know what you are doing. You can fry this cart in the blink of an eye. Not just one thing, but just about everything.
