Need help with wiring
Hello members of the group so I’m new to owning and working on golf carts come from the atv side of things I recently picked up a EZGO three wheel cart for $150 I did have to replace a couple of the battery cables and one battery do to issues with corrosion but I noticed there is two wires that are not hooked to anything so trying find a wiring diagram to see if I can figure out where they are supposed to go. Serial number on cart is 544112 manufacturer code H2189 by the tag I found under the glove box opening. I do know it has the resister block between the batteries if that helps if some one can tell me how to post pictures I will gladly post some to show what I’m talking about

Re: Need help with wiring
You probably have the old 'toaster oven' type of controller. You'll need to make a few more posts before the site will allow you to post pictures. Once you've made 5 or 6 posts (I think) then reply again with pictures of the errant wires.
My guess, if the cart runs fine then I'd imagine the two wires were for a 12v accessory that was connected across two of your 6v batteries. Not the best way to run lights/radio/etc but it's the way they used to always do it. |
