Default Over charging ?

Hey guys, has anyone experienced this or know if it’s a built in safety feature
I have a 91 club car ds converted to solid state with all the possible performance upgrades from Scotty at carts unlimited and lifted with large tires, I put the on board summit 2 Lester 650watt charger in it, I’ve noticed that I I unplug the charger to use the cart when it’s still in the upper end of the charging cycle above 55 volts the cart will not move until the
Volts drop to below 52 or 53. If I wait 5 to 10 minutes when the volts drop from above 55 to below 53 it takes right off. Before I figured this waiting period out I kept thinking something was wrong with the cart. Does anyone know if this is normal ?

Your minimum and maximum operating voltage is set incorrectly.

You can set the minimum and maximum operating voltage on most controllers.

If you have an Alltrax, set your maximum voltage at 60 to 62 volts and your minimum at 43 or 44.

You probably will find the maximum voltage is set at 52 or 53 volts which will not let the cart run until it comes off charger for a while.
