Anyone know anything about Club Car Connect?

I stumbled across the Club Car Connect system and my jaw dropped - I absolutely love the idea of this. However, apparently it has to be connected to your course's system. Anyone know what that entails?

I know my course has a system for it's club car fleet, but not sure what they have. I was told that if you link this system to your course's system, the golf course will have the ability to monitor your cart and even shut it down. Is that really true? I'm not such a big fan of big brother type stuff.

If you're able to connect to your golf course's system they'll be able to set restrictions on your speed. They'll also be able to set boundaries on the course that you won't be allowed to cross. If you do, the cart won't run. It's an awesome system but the only benefit I see in having it on a personal vehicle would be for golf course information and ordering beer.

I live on the course so I have a beer supply close by. I think I'll forgo this thing. Looks great but don't need the course providing restrictions on me.
