Default 2003 ez go 36 volt

Looking for help. My cart sometimes runs great and other times very slow. I seem to have the issue sometimes when I switch back and forth to reverse. But if iam able to leave it in forward once it’s running good, it continues to run good. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
