93 EZGO Wiring Diagram
Bought this cart used, without batteries and trying to get it wired up. Dropped in new batteries and the cart would go, but as soon as you put it in gear, either forward or reverse, it would start to go. Pushing on the gas pedal would make it go faster, but from a dead stop, letting off the brake while in gear, it would move. So I'm trying to get it wired up properly, but am now at the point that I can't get it to go at all. Searching for wiring diagrams gives me a lot of different information, but none of them seem to show all the correct wiring. Cart has two micro switches behind the FNR switch, and one on the accelerator switch. Need to know which wires connect to the solenoid, and where. Which wires connect to the key switch, and where. And which wires connect to the FNR switch, and where. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: 93 EZGO Wiring Diagram
If it starts to move with no pedal the pedal box switch is either bad or bypassed. You should find a grey loom that comes of the back of the pedal box that ends on a 4 pin molex. Should have white, black, throttle and red, green, switch. Red comes from the hot side of the solenoid green goes to the key switch. This diagram should be close.

Re: 93 EZGO Wiring Diagram
Thanks for the advice, but this cart doesn't have any molex connectors or controller. It's barely got wires!!! LOL. I did read through this post:
https://www.buggiesgonewild.com/showthread.php?t=50477 and looking at the two things Scotty mentioned, bought a new solenoid and confirmed the pedal does in fact return fully to the off position. |

Re: 93 EZGO Wiring Diagram
Here's a schematic for a resistor cart with motor mounted above rear axle.
I'm a little leery of it being a 1993 since the parts manual for 93 only shows controller drives. If it has a one piece differential housing, it is 1988 or later, so my guess is was built someplace between 1988 and 1992. Also attached are 1992 parts and 1993-1994 part manuals. |
