Default Charger issues??

Hi, I have a 2016 precedent and just replaced the original batteries with us batteries. Never had a issue with the old batteries not showing a complete charge, but the new ones won’t show a complete charge on the status lights. The top little green will still be blinking after all night on charger. It shows 52-53 amps when I shut it off, just wondering why it won’t complete the cycle. Thanks

Sometimes new batteries have to go thru a number of full charges to be completely charged. If you have a "bar" meter, throw it away, they are barely above useless. Get a digital meter so you can tell exactly how your batteries are doing. They are cheap and give you battery status at a glance.

Ok thanks, I do have a digital meter. I'll run them though some more charge cycles to see if the green light on the charger will turn solid.

If you have the ERIC charger you need to update the charge algorithm to match the batteries. The default algorithm will not fully charge US Batteries, because it has the wrong voltage settings programmed.

You can do it yourself in about 5 minutes.
You need a clean (formatted, no other files) USB stick drive.

lots of info in there if you want to read through it all.
