Re: New-to-me 88 Club Car! Couple electrical questions
Whichever way you go, go with the better brands of batteries (Crown, Trojan, etc). They may be 15-20% higher, but well worth it in the long run. Also, read up on the "Stickies" about batteries, save you money in long run.

Is this a fair price? Also, while I'm replacing the batteries should I buy new cables? |

Re: New-to-me 88 Club Car! Couple electrical questions
Figured out the headlight/tail light situation! A couple of the leads on the actual headlight bulbs (behind the rubber boot) had become disconnected. Reconnected them, then red on white + Black on black and all good to go!
Only thing is theyre powered from two of the 6V batteries, which is fine for as little as I will likely use the headlights for now. But Once I get new batteries I will definitely be connecting to the entire battery pack and use a 36V to 12V converter. |

excited to see how your build progresses. My wife and I just got a 1990 DS and I'm debating on what to do with the electrical stuff as well. What lift kit did you go with?

Re: New-to-me 88 Club Car! Couple electrical questions
Still waiting for the batteries that I want to get back in stock.
Question for anyone with experience on the pre-solid state DSs.. Is it normal for the area just behind the seat to get really hot to the touch, right above where the 5 (what look to be) solenoids are located? |
