Cart moves but no other electronics works
2003 Club Car DS 48 volt
Fuses check out Washed the Club Car and no lights, windshield wiper, brake lights or anything although it runs fine. There is an audible clicking noise behind the dash board when I try to turn on lights or horn. Any ideas are appreciated. |

Re: Cart moves but no other electronics works
Something got wet and is causing a short. Possibly just the turn signal switch but hard to say for sure. The circuit breaker for the lights is probably what is clicking.
Point a fan at the cart on high speed and hope everything dries out? Otherwise disconnect the pack negative and pull the dash out and see if everything in there is wet. With aftermarket wiring for the lights there is probably exposed wiring somewhere at one of the connectors. The chinesium switches they supply in the light kits are nowhere close to waterproof, best to avoid spraying those with water when you wash the cart. |
