Sounds like a wiring issue. Sonic weld maybe? Can you hear a click in the MCOR as you press the pedal slowly.

Re: 2014 Club Car no forward or reverse
You should hear a click in the MCOR when you press the pedal. If the switch in the MCOR isnt working then your issue is within the MCOR or the pedal. The click in the MCOR is the switch that activates the solenoid.

Re: 2014 Club Car no forward or reverse
Ok. I just ordered a OEM Mcor 4 made in Mexico. The two I purchased are both from China. Hopefully that will fix it. I have not heard any kind of click since installing both the China Mcors. I will update after I receive it and put it on. Thanks

Re: 2014 Club Car no forward or reverse
If there's something wrong with your vehicle wiring it can create a short and damage your MCOR the first time you press the pedal. That may be why it's eating MCORs. You need to take a fusible link such as an inline fuse holder, and place a 10 amp fuse in it, and un-plug the two pin connector from the MCOR and jump the connector out with the fuse holder, connecting the blue wire to the green wire. This will simulate an MCOR micro-switch. If the vehicle runs with the jumper in place and doesn't blow the fuse, replacing the MCOR will fix your problem.

Re: 2014 Club Car no forward or reverse
You could, but a paper clip isn't fused. Ideally you would want to take an inline fuse holder with wires coming out of both sides. Strip back the wire insulation on each wire and use it as your jumper.
