Default 2008 club car precedent

So I just purchased this golf cart and it has headlights and tail lights, horn, turn signals, and hazards. None of which are working and they appear to not have power. The person I bought them said they were in working condition last year but not this year. Batteries are fully charged and the cart runs great. My question is there a fuse box for these carts? Kind of strange how none of the above work or seems to have power. So I did open the seat and found a red fuse below and it had a blown 15a fuse, I replaced it and instantly blew when I turned the switch for the headlights/tail lights. I put a 25a fuse in and I had tail lights come one for maybe 30 seconds but no headlights or horn etc… than that fuse blew. I’m new to golf carts and any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Sounds like you have a short and the fuse is doing its job; time to start tracing wires.

Nice looking cart; welcome to the page!!

There is most likely a 48 to 12v converter somewhere on your cart that is the likely culprit. Take a bigger picture of the entire battery compartment to see what we can see. And don't keep putting larger fuses in it before you really damage something. Put a smaller one in, like a 5a to test it.

Are the lights, horn, turn signals etc standard from the factory or aftermarket? Not sure if these carts came standard from the factory. I didn’t get a manual with purchase. I’m trying to find where a fuse panel is on these carts. Thanks
