Break a clutch or even worse, crack your block by using pry bars and you'll wish yoiu spent $40.00 on a puller!

Not to mention after you break clutch or block or both. You need a NEW clutch AND the puller to get the broken clutch off. And maybe a engine side cover. Seen it many many many times.

No actully I sell alot of clutches and pullers and sometimes side covers to really embarrased people. LOL

Very good point

This site supports people and gives advice in a "Best Practice" format. Proper tool recommendations are a huge part of it. Big hammers, wood wedges and pry bars are not a good recommendation for the un-experienced hobbiest

he asked for a suggestion on how to get it off I gave him one .........it was fun to see how far you guys went with it tho :) .......I'll be sure to not give any further advice in the advanced workings of the golf cart
