Question newbie electrical problem 90 club car gas

CONFUSED NEWBIE, 90 club car gas stopped working, replaced solenoid, worked fine for a week. Same problem again--Solenoid has 4 post, both large post have 12 volts with key in off position. Small post have 6 volts with key in off position and 12 with key in on position. All post (3) on voltage regulator show 12 volts, even the groud terminal. With volt meter connected to negitive post on battery and positive lead from meter to car frame reading is 12 volts (hot frame) all fuses are good. CONFUSED.... Thanks for any help. Kevin

The lead that is connected to the negative terminal on the battery should connect to the frame of the cart. Make sure it is a good clean (terminals bright and shinny) connection.

Thanks Jimmie, I will make sure that the negitive connection is clean. I'm not sure if battery is grounded to motor or frame. Will check and change if needed. Thanks for you help...

The battery negative is grounded to the frame. The motor also has a ground wire from the motor to the frame (or it should).
