Finally a Fresh Engine for the Family Cart
Well this was a long hard road, if you have seen any of my posts, this started out to be a simple ring job.....but I screwed up and busted a ring and tore up the cylinder wall. So I bored it, new piston, rod, rings, and valve seals.....lapped the valves, cleaned everything up and finally a semi rebuilt motor. Has a blown exhaust gasket so I can't run it much, but it runs great. Started right up.....
should provide many more years of service. So all in all, not bad, bought it cheap off of a golf course. Put a 6" lift, atv tires, flip seat, clutch tune kit, paint, and now we have a great off road cart for our farm. It also pulls a tobogan awesome in the snow....the kids love it. Can't wait to see how it pulls now with a fresh motor! |
