Mine must be CCW because my fan blades face the opposite direction. I still think I've decided to sell it and go with the 16 hp duromax.

Bloody hell Wooly, if the driven clutch is CCW, then the drive clutch has to be CCW and since the drive clutch is attached to the crankshaft it makes sense that the engine is also CCW. Your making my head spin CCW and CW, I feel like a stand in for the Exorcist

I know it sounds like a mess but trust me, my head was spinning more. The confusion started because the cart came without the motor installed, it was still wrapped up, sitting on a bench, with no drive clutch. The cart was old and the motor was new...which made me unsure. The seller knew nothing about it other than it was a "golf cart" and motor.

I see, could you check the serial No on the motor ? That will determine it's age and it's rotation.

If the fan blades are opposite of mine, then it is CCW!

Do what ever you have to... or, want to do,
but, I'm telling you from personal experience, that the FE350 is a good strong engine!

BUT... there may be a slight drawback putting it in your HD...
Kawi engines are really finicky without a proper air box... However, you could re jet, and use a K&N filter,
and, it'll take time to to get it "just right", (testing, and re jetting... testing and re jetting)
and being that it sits without a carb right now, makes it even more time consuming.

Again... do whatever you'd like to do... just post pics!

and note:
I just checked my CC dealers website... he's selling that engine, without the carb, for around 2K,
So... If your engine is NEW, and never used... don't let it go for less then $500.00!

I actually do have the Carb...the seller included that with it, its just not installed. This carryall 6 is a big heavy monster, so I think the few extra HP will help out. Especially since I'm converting it to a trans sender. For what I can sell this setup for, I can get the duromax, lift, and tires and wheels.
