Clutch "clacking" noise at top of RPM range.
I have a 1999 Club Car Carryall 6. I get a loud clacking noise at higher rpm. This happens when the cart is jacked up on jack stands or running down the road. Any ideas? Can a bad belt cause this or am I looking aT replacing one of the clutches?

Re: Clutch "clacking" noise at top of RPM range.
If this were one of the old KF82 engines I would be suspecting the engine. The engine I had made a similar noise that was due to a loose/worn rod. But since yours doesn't have that engine I'm not sure. Are you sure the noise is coming from the clutch? The description does sound rather close to how I would have described mine at the time.
