Charger diagnosis
I was told by a local shop that my charger isnt putting out enough amps or voltage and is the reason the set of batteries in there have worn down. They said it should start at 20ish amps, it starts at about 5 or less. Also that the voltage should be closer to 42, but its only putting out 36.
They said they used a different charger and right now the cart's running well enough, but was warned if I use my charger it wont give enough juice back to the batteries. Can I service that charger myself? What parts usually go bad on that thing? Its for a 94 Marathon. |
