Default Headlights

Still trying to figure out which way to go with headlights. Scottyb and others have been very gracious in helping me out with advice on the "correct and best way" to accomplish this and it has been very much appreciated. After unexpected vet surgery bill...aaahhh....I had to put on the back burner. Here's my question, I have been reading about HID or LED lights (Walmart or Ebay) 20-30.00 that are 36v. Since I'm strapped at the moment, this would be a great option for me if they really work. My understanding is they would just hook up straight to my battery pack without having to buy a reducer or spare battery options. I really would probaly only use lights 30min to 1hr at a time. Any help or thoughts on this would be most appreciated.

Default Re: Headlights

After a lot of studying on this subject, I ended up buying and mounting a $20 set of auto fog lights from WalMart on my EZGO, then I picked up two 36 volt H3 bulbs on E-bay and connected directly to my pack through a fuse and switch. I decided that for my use, this would be the simplest & most economical method. It has worked out great for me so far as I use lights very infrequently and I do not plan to add any other accessories. Hope this helps - RAY
